2015 Seattle Kumamoto Kenjin Kai Summer Picnic

All member families, friends of Kumamoto and Kumamon, JET Alumni, and guests are welcome to attend the 2015 Kumamoto Kenjin Kai Summer Picnic. Please RSVP to

  • –  The event will be from 11:30am to 4:00pm at Lincoln Park (Shelter #1)
  • –  The Kenjin Kai will be providing hot dogs, chili, watermelon, water, and some snacks.
  • –  Bentos ($10) are also available for order (deadline for order is Wednesday, 1 July 2015) by contacting Suzuko Terada at (206) 722-3093 or at Activities will include a raffle and lots of games for the whole family. We look forward to seeing everyone!

2015 Shinnenkai (New Year Party) – 24 January 2015

2012 Japanese Cultural and Community Center Tomodachi Award

On March 9, 2012, the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington presented the Tomodachi award to the Kenjin Kai Groups in the Seattle area.  The Seattle Kumamoto Kenjin Kai was one of the awardees.

Receiving the award ceremony on behalf of the Kenjin Kai is Calvin Terada, President, Tina Terada-Santos, Vice-President, and Judge Vicki Toyohara Mukai, Board Member.
